Based out of St. Louis, Joshua Stephen is a melodic and progressive house/techno artist dedicated to growing the sound throughout the Midwest. With a musical background that began at age ten through orchestra and local metal bands, he eventually found his home in dance music, developing a style centered around immersive, story-driven journeys through tension, release, and emotion.

Alongside releasing music and performing live, he founded Melodia, a St. Louis-based melodic and progressive collective focused on producing events featuring both local and national talent.

Justin has made a name for himself by crafting immersive, emotional journeys through all facets of house, techno, and trance. Widely recognized for his era-defining residency at Velvet, the legendary Washington Avenue nightclub that anchored St. Louis's late-90s and early-2000s underground dance culture, Justin's memorable sets helped elevate the venue into a premier nightlife institution. His influence extended across the region through curated promotional CD series like Velvet Vibes, which captured the signature atmospheric grooves of the club's packed dance floors. In addition to Velvet, he was a regular at other notable St. Louis venues like Rue 13, Voodoo, Babylon, Cheetah, Tangerine, Cafe Eau, Z, Pepper Lounge, The OZ, Faces, and Upstairs Lounge. Spanning decades of dedication to the craft, his legacy remains firmly rooted in the peak era of the city's electronic music history. Having recently relocated back to St. Louis, we couldn't be happier to welcome him home and have him back behind the decks
